Cambodia: Official Launching of Capfish

As partner of the CAPFISH-Capture project, Confirel was pleased to join the launch of the Investment Support Facility, organized by Fisheries Administration (FiA), UNIDO and Credit Guarantee Corporation of Cambodia (CGCC), on May 29.

The event took place at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, in the presence of SE Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Mr. Driesman Igor, Ambassador of the European Union (EU) Delegation to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

This project, co-financed by the European Union, will enable better development of Cambodia's post-harvest fisheries, including one of Confirel's latest products: our Kirum Prahok powder and Kirum Prahok Ktis, which have been tasted by Dith Tina and Mr. Driesman (see picture). 

Representatives from government agencies, NGOs, private sector partners and academic & research institutions stopped by our booth to find out more about our Prahok Kirum, taste our Prahok Ktis canapés, and discover our full range of Authentic Khmer Products.

Confirel strongly believe that this project will be instrumental in developing Cambodia's fisheries sector, and is proud to be a part of this exciting initiative!
